The brewery officially opened in 2011 with a 15-barrel brewing system and a Tap Room featuring eight beers on tap. Payette Brewing quickly became known for its adventurous spirit and commitment to quality. They were the first craft brewery in Idaho to can their beer, starting with Mutton Buster Brown Ale and Payette Pale Ale in 2012.
Payette Brewing is also deeply committed to the community. Their Kegs 4 Kause program, launched in 2011, donates 50% of proceeds from beer sales to local non-profits. Over the years, they’ve donated tens of thousands of dollars to various causes.
The brewery has won numerous awards, including being named “Best Brewery” by the Boise Weekly every year since 2012. Their mission is to brew awesome beers while building a culture that connects, educates, and makes a difference in the community.
