Story

Barbarian Brewing, the parent company of Barbarian Downtown Beer Bar, was founded by James Long and his wife Breanna in 2015. They started with a focus on creating unique, barrel-aged beers and sour ales. The original brewery and taproom are located in Garden City, Idaho.

The success of their innovative brews led to the opening of the Barbarian Downtown Beer Bar in 2017. This downtown Boise location offers a cozy and vibrant atmosphere where patrons can enjoy a wide variety of Barbarian’s craft beers, including their signature barrel-aged and sour ales, as well as other seasonal and experimental brews.
